Well, I cancelled my order after being notified that shipping prices increased to over $90 Euro. It's a nice windshield, but that nice!

Nice. You got quite a discount for only 850 miles! I picked up my new 2012 GT300i earlier this month for $3935 OTD from Heinen's Motorsports in Osseo MN.

That is a sharp scooter! I believe Kymko manufactures the engines for the BMW C650/600 and I wonder if the engine in the MyRoad is similiar (though larger)....

Yeah, it has been a short, wet, and cool summer here in MN. But the plants are loving it, I cannot remember seeing so much green!
Did your wife's Scarebo have carburetor issues? Mine ran like crap when I first got it and I recall there was a recall on them to fix the problem. Otherwise it was a very fun little scoot. I decided to go with the 300 now as I wanted a bit more power and fuel injection cannot be beat when you have to store a bike for half the year, every year.

Nice. I just ordered one of these screens in "Clear Grey" with the "Dragon" print. Price was $171.46 shipped. Not cheap, but I like the way it mounts properly to the hard points on the handlebars where the cheesy US turn signals mount. Turn signals will be relocated to factory. Also ordered the Acerbis "Flash" hand guards. Hoping to wire up the LEDs as additional running lights.

Just wondering if anyone has ditched their DOT front signal pods and got their integrated signals working, and what is involved. I'd like to do this and possible run some LED driving lights at the pod location. On the surface it appears to be a fairly simple operation but I'd love to hear from those who have any detailed info! Thanks!

Hey, y'all..
Just picked up a new gold 2012 GT300i the other day. So far, so good! I'm a long time motorcyclist and occasional scooterist, having owned a Vespa P200e, Aprilia Scarebo 200 prior to the GT. This new scoot really fits the sweet spot of urban mobility/freeway power/sporty riding.
Looking forward to meeting folks here and getting involved in any scootering to be done in the Twin Cities, MN area.
