Super 8 / The Housing/Sock around the Carb ?

Hello guys!

Long time since last and now I wondering about the ugly housing/sock or what it's called, the one that sits over the carb, do you guys take it off?

Hello and thanks for the welcome guys :)

The funny thing is that the damn scooter havent worked for about 2 weeks, drived it home from my brothers Van in whitch he collect the scooter and then the day after it just dident started, so I  checked the spark plug whitch was fine with ignition spark and then the other day I was on my way to service but try start it again and voila the engine starts, heh strange thing.

So now it seems to work again, maybe it was something about the CDI - Box I dont know.

Annyway just hope it will continue to work now :)

Im a new guy here to and just some days ago bought the same as you, a new shiny Super 8 50cc 2 stroke and just loving it, so beautifull and nice in every way.

Glad I come over this forum as im a total noob myself so cheers for us noobs then and hope you enjoy your nice Scooter  ;)

Hello!

Well I dident get anything like that when I bought the Scooter im afriad, maybe we dont get that here in Sweden as the only thing was the manual.

Will be poking around the Scooter now and look for any restrictions :)

Hello and thank you for the answer Pimpy1.

Been looking around everywhere but could not find any information about the 2013 - 2 stroke version so it's really appriciated  :)

So there really is no restriction on my CDI-Box then, wonder what I have to do then as it feels it stops reving around 45km so if you have some ideas please share  :)

Hello guys/gals!

Bought my new Super 8 2 Stroke today and couldent be any happier, what a beauty what a wonderfull scooter in every way, im so impressed  :)

Of course they dont run great from fabric so no I must start to trim it a little.
So you in the know how, is the CDI Box on a 2013 2 stroke Kymco stricted or what it calls ?

Im new to all of this but eager to learn so please bear with me the newbie I am  ???

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello as im so glad I found this great forum :)

On my way to buy a new nice Super 8 50cc 2 stroke and cant wait to get it home.

The long dude I am was looking for a big scooter and I was recomended the Kymco Super 8 so I have read up on everything I have found out about this beauty and had the luck so find a guy that sells his 2013 model dirt cheap whitch only run a few km so I couldent be any happier :D

So I will probably ask you some questions here later on from you pros about little bit of everything :)
