I use a DNM MST-AR1 on my Agility. You can see it in here: at 2:20 mark

I'd highly recommend it :)

I remember watching your video a while back. Great vid, great scoot. I may have to get that one you have.

What bike do you have? Agility 125?  340mm The same as most small Kymcos
The shocks are all measured from the mounting holes @ center to center. Diameter is also important. You have to be sure the tire you have is the tire you want to keep running because if you decide to use a wider tire it may not fir next to your new shock.

Yes a 125, I wasn't even aware you could run a wider tire. What's the biggest people put on? That's also my next mod.

Agility 125 / Looking for an aftermarket rear shock

Does anyone know what size shock I can get to replace my old stock one? I've seen some pretty cool looking aftermarket shocks for scooters but not sure if they would be a direct fit. Is there a length in mm I should be looking for? Thanks for any and all help.

Thanks guys, all that info helped a bunch. I'll try to update when I get done with everything.

Bump... Come on no one can answer one of these? I'm guessing the stock tires don't just say "Kymco" what brand is the stock tire?

So I have a few questions about my "new to me" 08 Agility 125...

1)   I bought a carb jet kit with different size jets, any tutorial on how to switch jets? (I know its super easy but don't want to mess with the carb without being sure).

2)   I also just bought some Dr. Pulley 12g Sliding rollers and read in another thread that the torque spring might need to be replaced too? Any idea on what RPM Spring I should be looking for?

3)   I would like to buy an aftermarket cone air filter and elbow to replace the stock air box (I won't ride in rain). What size is the stock carb inlet or if someone can show me a link to one online. I see a lot of 42mm and such?

4)   I know this is a pretty stupid question but how can I tell what brand the stock tires are, I bought the scoot with 16,xxx km and imagine the tires would have been changed but how can I tell what the crappy stock ones are and if I need to replace or not? Tread depth?

Thanks for any and all info guys and gals!

Nice, you in the Bay Area? I'm up in Chico on my 125.

Classic squid mentality . . how unfortunate (except for those waiting for organ donations)!

Did you just source Urban Dictionary? You're also assuming this is my only or first motorcycle and I have no idea how nitrous works. N20 is kinda my calling card, I have a 2000 Camaro SS that runs a direct port 200 hp shot, around 600 hp total, and a 72 Ford F100 with a FE 360 running a 75 wet plate shot. I've never ran N20 on any of my last Harley's or Scoots but I'll do it just like I did with my other rides, gradual and in safe conditions. Anyways you're officially my enemy on here you troll.

To everyone else: Thanks a bunch guys/ and gals! I do enjoy making each of my rides unique to fit my own style. And yes, lol being 6'4" 300 on this Scoot probably is a pretty hilarious sight to see. But like the guy above me I also have too much fun on my scooter to give a damn what anyone else thinks, and so far I've only got positive comments. (well besides ^^^ that guy)

Sad to see this scooter desecrated into a pile of excrement.  Sounds like you are achieving the objectives of degrading the reliability and reducing the resale value of your "expendable toy".

Wow what an awkward passive aggressive hate post. Unfortunately this will probably lead me to searching out sources of better information while working on my scooter by people with passion and who actually work on their own scoots. Maybe I'll look for a GY6 specific forum or use /r/scooters on Reddit.

You're sad to see that I removed a cheap sticker and covered the scuffs/fading of the original 5 year old paint? Do you have any idea what Plasti Dip is? You know it is easily removable and does not harm the paint underneath? If your opinion of the big bore kits is negative or if you have personal experience I would have appreciated some actual advice. You know what's probably really going to make your blood boil? I'm working on putting a sound system with an external USB charged power source with iPod connect and I plan on running a mini shot of nitrous as well. Seems like I'll make more friends in a Honda Ruckus forum then here.

Hopefully there will be some other people with nicer things to say than this dick. Any proper forum would never allow negative posts on a simple introduction thread. Oh and yes this is an "expendable toy" I bought it for $460 USD, $9 on oil, $12 on plasti dip, and so far $2 on a 1/2 gallon of gas.

Hey everyone!

I just got a killer deal on a used 2008 Kymco Agility 125 up in Chico in Northern California. I'm a big dude (6' 4" around 300 pounds) and this thing holds up pretty damn well for my size. I'll get it up to around 55mph or so and it rides nice. I started customizing it a bit, I'll post up a little before pic and an after of what I've done so far. I just removed a couple things, oil change, Go-Pro mount, and Plasti Dipped the body matte white and de-badged it to give it that Storm Trooper look.

I have a couple questions, how do I re-jet the carb? Does it even help? I have a carb jetting kit with a #105, 110, 115, 120, 125. Also I wanted to know how easy it is to completely removing the air box and running a cone filter out the side and not riding in the rain. Are those eBay big bore kits worth it at all? How about those $60 gy6 performance exhaust systems from eBay? Well I look forward to learning more about my Kymco and customizing it to my liking!
