Agility 50 / Assembling Problem.
« on: January 13, 2014, 11:18:53 AM »
Hello.

I have taken my bike apart too try and solve a running issue with a friend who is a mechanic. However he has now been called offshore.

After the bike had been put together, two problems cropped up.

Problem one: My fuel gauge is no longer going up even though there is a full tank of petrol.

Problem Two: The bike merely ticks over and over as it would before the bike starts however it doesn't ignite and start up. It has had a new coil pack and spark plug, and the battery is fully charged. I have put the throttle cable back on, however I cannot fit the ball at the end of the wire on the throttle cable into the slot on the piece on the side of the carb the throttle sits into it and pulls back and forth however is the ball on the end of the wire required too slot into place and could this be what is stopping the bike from starting up?

All help is appreciated.

Kind regards

Hello,

So I'm selling the bike. I decided too clean out the carb (with help) after putting the carb back in the bike starts up perfectly, however when I apply the throttle it cuts out.

If anyone can help it would be appreciated and you'll never have me bother this forum again!

Thanks

Agility 50 / Air filter

Hello,

Searched my question, however I could not find the answer.

Can I wash the agility 50 air filter in soap and water? I realise you can with foam filters, but wasn't sure with this one.

Thanks

Agility 50 / Re: Speeds on Agility 50
« on: November 24, 2013, 10:11:05 AM »
Hello,

On a standard Kymco Agility 50cc scooter the top speed you will reach is 30mph. This is due to the restrictions that don't allow it too go any faster. However you can take these off so too speak.

There are many tutorials online, however before you do anything make sure you know what you are doing. This involves cutting the CDI, replacing the drive boss to a smooth lip and going up a jet size. I made the mistake of fiddling when I didn't know exactly what too do and damaged the bike. Also take care in knowing that insurance policy can be breached if you de restrict the bike.

Once the restrictions are taken off it will be able too reach 45 - 48mph.

Hope I helped!

Hello,

I cut my CDI not long ago and all it is doing is creating problems, the bike is loosing power on start up and won't go up hills.

Any Idea where I can buy a cheap CDI (UK only)

Thanks

Agility 50 / Oil Drain and more!!
« on: November 14, 2013, 08:56:08 AM »
Hello,

I'm about to do an oil change on my bike. The only problem is the bolt I'm trying to get off won't budge at all, however on a youtube video this guy did it with his hands? However the video wasn't very clear and perhaps I am trying to move the wrong thing?

Anybody have any pics of how to do it?

Also cleaning out parts of the bike at the moment, can anyone tell me what the tube under the air filter is?

Thanks

If that's the problem...  The carburetor has two screws for air and fuel... you need to increase the fuel part... you can google "how to adjust scooter carburetor"... or in Youtube... they have lots of tutorials there...

Thanks will have a look! Will try and find one
