. How did you figure the reed valve wasn't functioning correctly?

I had it out, and could blow through it both ways. Dismanteled and cleaned it, and it worked.

Thanx for the reply LoveMyKymco.
Yes I have spark, but is it possible that it can come at the wrong time?
Is it possible to measure the compression below the piston?

I tested the compression now, and it was 120 psi. Shouldn't this be sufficient to start?

I hope someone in here can give me an idea of what to do next.

zx50 / ZX50 Super Fever won't start. (Solved)

 ;DHello
I have just bought  a second hand super fever unseen. The lady who sold it said it worked ok, but stalled after a while. I thought this would be a piece of cake. However, now the scooter won't start at all. The spark is good, but it will not fire. I've tried with start gas, petrol down the spark plug hole, cleaned the carb and changed the battery. Still not even a single cough neither with kick or starter. I think the compression is ok for a 50 cc. I also have downloaded the workshop manual, but I'm running out of ideas. Does the CDI influate the ignition timing?

Any tips will be greatly appreciated, thanx.
Daniel
