connect the two green together....connect red and black to start...the stripe white and black is the kill wire. you can use any motorcycle key switch 4 or 5 wire

I took vary off and it has an unrestricted boss, 7.5 mossi weights and a new belt. I disconnected the green wire and bolted everything back up. took it for test run...and wow!..it will do 52mph @10000 rpm...gotta love it now.....

@ Boo & Joe,
yes the V-max is a monster..and a great ride to get some adrenaline up in the ole ticker. but hand down the most perfect ride is the 80 cb750....it rides so smooth it will put you to sleep if ya not careful,...
@All ,
What is next on the performance list for this cobra, its only got 3650 miles on it and being 12 years old i think it will be wise to buy a new tranny belt and while i am in there what should i change or upgrade?
Thank you for all of your help guys,
Tony.

Hello All,
Few things I need help on.
First would be the carb mounting plate that inserts into the carb, on one of the bolt holes broke, leaving only a half hole.
Second would be a 5 plug ignition with a key.
thirdly would be a starter.
If anyone has any of these parts, could you let me know. please?
I got this scooter on a trade with title.
I got it to run using the kick start and an old motorcycle ignition but its a 4 plug.
Can anyone help this newbie?

Thank you very much,
Tony
