You'll probably get 7 different answers for these problems. Drill a small hole in the cap.

General Discussion / Re: No Respect... Just no respect for scooters.
« on: October 02, 2015, 12:07:50 AM »
I tend to think I earn respect when its 35-40degrees in the morning at times of the year and I am the only 2wheel bike on the road. I still have fun riding my scoot despite that.
I see a few scoots here and there. Yeah they are slow to a superbike and big motor Harleys but a hoot to drive all over the city. I don't really care. I just wait for the Harley riders to die from no helmets and superbike boys to get skin grafts from just a helmet on with shorts, shirt.

Lol most Harley riders fit in my categories I see. Fat, old, bald. Most of them nail all three at once.

That's only 13miles a day (miles or kilometer?) he put on it, don't think he drove "the crap" out of it. Maybe he did long cruises on the weekend or drove it to work to save gas. Just buy it back if the price is good. Drive it another 2000 miles then do the basic maintenance like belts and rollers. Usually dealers get it inspected before they buy it or resale it.

For Sale / Re: many good helmets available in eBay...
« on: September 18, 2015, 02:18:40 AM »
I hear you. I have one helmet that is M and one is a S. The one I ordered online they also have a eBay store, exchanged my helmet for a size smaller. Just had to pay for shipping it back to them. I wanted a retro helmet and they didn't have any around me so thats why I bought online. It would seem the in person is the best bet. That way you can see how you look in it most importantly 8) and get that snug fit. Seem like the same goes for motorcycle jackets that either fit too big or small when you order your size.

Super 8 150 / Anyone have a review for the new model super 8?
« on: September 15, 2015, 03:35:53 PM »
Wondering if anyone had any info on the new super 8 based on the Agility chassis. Is it any faster than the last 8 and worth the extra money over a agility 125. As far as I can tell it's just different turn signal, exposed handle bars, grab rail. Guess it doesnt have a power socket or different suspension. Is it worth the extra $ for a 1 or 2mph speed and worse gas mileage than the Agility 125. Anyone got a top speed on it?

Agility 125 / Re: since day 1, been stalling.

Update: she took it to the dealer, another mechanic worked on it. Said another part was broken, emissions part she told me was broken. He took it off and now you can see a blue plastic line showing under the gas tank. She drove it today and so far so good.....

Agility 125 / since day 1, been stalling.
« on: June 02, 2015, 04:40:59 AM »
My gf got a 2014 agility 2months ago. It has been stalling. Start it up, sometimes it dies idling. Warmed up go to take off, it stumbles then dies. Driving it down the road later then sputters, dies. Always one of those 3.
I have done the valves, they are correct. Did two back to back gas tanks with 2oz of Techron.
Drilled tiny hole through gas cap and gasket.
Took it to dealer said they can't find out what's wrong with it. They had no problems when they drove it. I asked the guy if dirty carbs since it sat for a year, gas from factory in bowl. He said they don't add gas at the factory, couldn't be it. Its currently sits at just under 600km.
I don't want to take it back to them and get the run around again. Its a lame $1900 bike, wasting their time. Hers is the only one they ever had a problem with they say. Oh yeah and the one I bought from them they had to replace the stator. Just our 2 are the only problem kymcos, they are a great brand they say.
At wits end. Don't want my gf to get ran over in traffic. sh** happens every ride. Seems this is common crap with agility and there's 6 different reasons/solutions. Help!

Agility 125 / Re: Oil Questions
« on: May 16, 2014, 05:22:09 AM »
I have a agility with 15,200kms on it. I ve used the rotella for the past 4changes. I know the person who owned it probably didnt take good care it from the signs. I think the agility can handle the abuse.I dont trip on which oil to get. The manual says 15/40 so I go by that. Rotella is supposed to be the best 15/40. I see some guys on here go by syn so flip a coin :o

Theres another bolt on the opposite side of drain bolt. Its underneath the pan not on the side like the bolt. Its pretty big so look. You undo it and there will be your screen

I am curious also on the mirrors. The stock ones remind me of mickey mouse. I like the agility rs ones. They say dont get any upgrades for this scoot. I ve seen many exhausts $200+ but if you rock it everyday why not. I just wonder about a jet upsize due to modified exhaust.

General Discussion / Re: Out catching waves
« on: April 07, 2014, 04:33:38 PM »
On my little agility 125 i get some waves. The harley riders with no gear on never even see you lol. Funniest one so far a honda cbr1000 lane split to the front of the stoplight, pulls right up next to me and threw up the fist to pound it lol.

Agility 125 / Starts right up then dies after.
« on: April 05, 2014, 01:51:59 PM »
When it get cold over night mid 40s to 50s degrees the bike has problems. It will start right up then die after a minute of idiling. Then it wont start up again. I come back to it in about a hour or so when just a bit warmer and it goes. I have changed every fluid and filter. Did the valves.  What gives? Is it this auto choke crap? Can i do it manually?
