A close up photo so you can see the way Puig cuts the bottom to fit.

The windscreen arrived and I had it installed in about 15 minutes.  It is about an inch shorter and about 2.375 inches narrower than the older Kymco option.  I had hoped it would have a bit more rake to it as this is almost straight up.  That said, it really cuts down the noise and turbulence, for a much calmer ride.

Heeters Performance Center (Heeters.com) sent me an email indicating they have just two 6848W windscreens available for $124.22.  You might want to email Dave at david.heeter@frontier.com for a link to order if interested.

Mine is due to arrive Monday, 6/29/15 and I will update with photos after it is installed.

I just ordered a new windscreen Puig has available for the GT300.  I had to order it from Motovation.com and it is not listed in their on-line catalog.  I was told by a sales representative at Motovation to email a request to sales@motovationusa.com and they would create a special page in their shopping cart, and email me a link.  They did just that.

The item number is 6848W.  It is $114 with free shipping and you can see info about it at: http://www.puigusa.com/tuning-bikes/kymco-people-gt300i-2013/windscreen-ts/c171en/f1-r277-m4070/

I have not received it yet but it seems they only imported a limited stock, so you may not want to wait too long.  I hope to update this post once it arrives and is installed.

It appears to reset, and within a few moments, triggers the 45 code again.  TheO2 Sensor tests out well within the range per the manual, but there does not seem to have a poor connection or pinched wires.  I am stumped as to why the code is still triggering.

Thank you all.

I will see what happens.  It seems that if it is clearing, it is detecting the O2 Sensor issue before I even start it, as soon as I turn the key to the 'On' position.  I do not see any pinched wires or other problems with the wiring, and I will meter the sensor tonight.

Sadly, the Check Engine light is flashin the 4 long and 5 short flashes while holding the throttle open for the 10 seconds, so I suspect the ECU or procedure is different for the GTi 300/200.   It is not clearing.

Once the key in On, the Check Engine light keeps repeating the code flash series at least three times.

The other day, the check engine light flashed 45, an O2 Sensor failure.  There was noticable black smoke coming from the exhaust.  My dealer sent me a new O2 Sensor and the smoke went away.

The problem is that the shop manual states: "If the Diagnostic Trouble Codes are not cleared from the ECU memory they will continue to display until cleared, even if the fault has been addressed. Always clear the trouble codes after addressing a fault to see if the action was successful. If the fault is still present the DTC will show again."

My nearest dealer is a nine hour round trip away, so it is not convenient to have him reset the ECU with his diagnostic tool/reader, but I cannot verify the problem is solved until the code is reset.

Does anyone know a reset procedure for the GTi 300/ GTi 200s?
