cheers
Don.

Thanks Don,
I am not in a good shape but it could be a lot worse... so I am thankful :)
Riding might not be an option for me because I don't want to see my families suffer again :(

Glad you survived this ! Now, get an Attorney and sue for medical bills. Attatch drivers' wages to recover. You should NOT have to be responsible for your own medical bills . Was bike insured? If so, they should cover uninsured motorist (for bike and medical ) and then they would recover through subrogation .

Thanks bluesin,
yes, I finally hand it over to lawyer, but they told me there's nothing they can do if the other guy doesn't has insurance.
If that is the case, I will have to go to small claim court and the process gonna take forever......
Being not able to work and have to deal with all that is very frustrating :'(

How much for the engine and fuel injection throttle body /ecu? That would make a mad b&w swap..... :o

Hey BettinANDlosing,
I have no idea about that, maybe you can make me an offer?
If you're located in SoCal, maybe you can come take a look and pick it up?

Thanks a lot for all your kind words guys :)
I would like to share more information but now I have decided to hand this case over to lawyer and they don't want me to share too much information.
Will share more once this case is settled.

Thanks again, de dee, donjack, boo, bluesin, Amac1680, and zombie.
Hope I am the last one in this forum to experience this.
Ride safe!

As title, I had a pretty bad luck recently, being hit by a jack**s driver cutting thru the double yellow line while I was riding in the HOV lane.
I am going to part my DT out to get some money back for medical bills (the driver's got an expired ins policy)
Not sure how many ppl want to do this but let me know if you need anything (and where to locate the part you are looking for)

*Most damage are in the front & right side, check following link for more photo

P.S:
For most of the parts, I really have no idea about how much to ask, so maybe you can make me offer so we can work things out.

Regarding the Givi E450 top case, I got a Givi E84 Backrest Pad and Givi SR92M special rack all together as a package for sale.
All for $220 + Shipping

I can get the genuine kymco filter for $30 each from Taiwan. They usually arrives in 10 days. I normally purchase a lot of parts in one time to save on shipping.

My other bike is Kawasaki Ninja 650, and I have never had a compliant from my neighbor, not even I start the bike early in the morning. I am sure the result will be different if I am riding a HD.

I found that more driver noticed my existence when I am riding my Ninja
(especially on the freeway while lane-splitting <- legal in Calif.)

I have been scared by some scooters when I was driving my car because I can't hear them. On the contrast, if I can hear a bike is approaching, I can have time to check my rear view mirror and make room for them.
Last, yes, most aftermarket pipe is toooo expensive.

I don't like those super loud HD exhaust muffler noise, but I somehow agree with the "BE HEARD TO BE NOTICED" since I am riding on freeway everyday.
Anyone here in the US know where to get a nice exhaust muffler louder than our stock muffler? (not excessively loud, you know what I mean)

I put 15.5g sliders on it, very good/extended top speed and from 75mph+ to max speed is a lot easier compared to stock rollers.

Only thing I am not that happy besides the seat is that I can see some oil leakage (very little, won't drip to the ground but I can see it all around the engine from bottom)
Will have my dealer inspect that this Nov. hopefully warranty could cover that.

BTW, I accidentally damaged the thread of the gear oil filler port, now i will have to find a place to do re-threading. Better get t torque wrench than just your instinct
