My son purchased a 2007 Vitality 50 2T (2 stroke) with a non-functioning electric start system. The kick start works well so the previous owner never bothered to fix the electric start. Since I already know the battery is not the problem, I thought I'd take a look at the electric start switch in the handle. I removed the screws holding the throttle assembly together and used my multimeter to verify the start switch is functioning properly (it is). I put the assembly back together but now I can't get the moped to start (using the kick start). It doesn't even pop. What could I have messed up?
