Couldn't I have a piece or dirt in the carb that got sucked in with the last amount of gas In it?

People 50 / Ran out of gas now won't start
« on: May 19, 2014, 01:00:51 AM »
My kymco moped ran out of gas and now it won't start. I had the headlight and the taillight on and then it started bogging down and now it won't start. I noticed that there was a lot of dirt and stuff in the gas tank and now when I try to start it won't start. I also have a dead battery so could this be a contributing factor?

People 50 / Re: People 50 fuel gauge not giving accurate reading.

I pulled the float assembly out and moved the float. the gauge went up when I moved it up and down. So my guess is the pun that allows the float arm is not allowing it to move freely causing it to not move and just giving a inaccurate reading how to I fix the pin?

My peoples 50 fuel gauge reads in accurately when it's 3/4 full it reads the dot above empty. Is the float stuck and not allowing it to go up?

People 50 / Kymco People 50 Many Problems!
« on: May 14, 2014, 06:31:55 PM »
My kymco people 50 moped runs fine when it is on a stand but when you take it off the stand and ride it it bogs and almost and position on the throttle but sometime is dosent and runs fine at wot it bogs and won't move. What is the deal. Carb is clean but air filter is off. Could that be the issue getting to much air? And also it does not go fast at all mainly because of the carb issues stated above. And also it dosent want to start well in the cold I have to kick it rapidly for it to start and even then I try to give it gas and it bogs and dies then I do it again a couple times and then it will run. And also the speedometer dosent work and the fuel gauge and the clock dosent work how do I fix those also? I've heard the exhaust could be clogged giving it less speed?
