Grandvista 250 / Re: Adjust Headlight
« on: May 21, 2011, 09:08:19 AM »
I pulled off the cover that exposes the windshield screws to remove the windshield.  There are just two screws to remove this piece.  Its the small piece above the full front fairing.  Then you will find two large screws that you can turn right or left that will adjust the headlight.  Be careful though, one screw was frozen and I busted the mechinism that adjust the headlight.  You may want to spray some wd 40 all around the screw and behing it to get the mechinism loose.

Good Luck

Grandvista 250 / 06' kymco
« on: July 29, 2009, 01:31:37 PM »
Picked up a 2006 kymco grand vista with 6000mi on it for $1000.  All it needed was a front turn signal lens cover.   Im not sure about the tires with that kind of mileage.  Is it time to get new tires or do I have some time. They look fine, still have some tread.

Thanks

General Discussion / Re: 125cc vs 250cc
« on: July 10, 2009, 12:15:11 AM »
my 250 grand vista, is quick off the line.  i beat my friend on his 400 off the line.  he eventually catches up after a while.  not many hills where i live so cant comment too much.  i feel that it would struggle a little if starting off at bottom of hill.  rolling into it should be no problem.  theres other things to consider also, like having more storage on a bigger scooter and trailing someone would be better.
