Agility 125 / should i pay to have my carb cleaned and adjusted?
« on: March 08, 2015, 09:22:55 PM »
i have a 2013 agility 125. bought it last summer. if i let it warm up for 20min it still bogs until i drive it for a couple miles then it will run ok. it also seems top speed is slow from the top speeds ive seen 55-60 on flat ground. i know i shouldnt expect much more but the dealer said it was sitting a while before i bought it and ive waitied too long to have it covered under warranty. i guess what im really asking is should i pay to have it cleaned and tuned or is it worth the headache to try to do it myself? i have only basic mechanical knowledge im not a mechanic by any means

Is there a higher quality replacement bulb out there to use in place of the stock for agility 125. Something brighter?

Agility 125 / anybody know any good videos on agility carb cleaning?
« on: November 10, 2014, 07:45:40 PM »
looking for a good agility carb cleaning video or if someone wants to take the time to go through the process. My agility has to warm up for a long time and then some to start from a stop without bogging. runs fine once its hot. dealer said to bring it in for a carb cleaning because it sat for a while before I bought it but I would like to do it myself.

Agility 125 / Re: spark plug question about iridium CR7HIX for agility 125
« on: November 10, 2014, 12:13:57 PM »
CR7HSA
C: Plug thread size
R: Resistor type plug
7: Heat rating
The last bit is just material of the electrode and it says "special design". The number is the heat rating and as long as you get cr7hix it'll be correct. The hix means iridium.
Ok thanks. Just wanted to double check

Agility 125 / spark plug question about iridium CR7HIX for agility 125
« on: November 08, 2014, 08:12:02 PM »
I want to get an iridium plug for my scoot. I saw somewhere on here someone said that the CR7HIX was a Iridium replacement for the stock CR7HSA. but I looked on amazon and they had a fit checker and it said it doesn't fit the agility 125. anyone know or know where I can get some solid info on this I don't want to put a plug that is too hot in my scooter or that would be less effective than the one I have.

if you guys are wondering where you can get ethanol free I found a website called pure-gas.org it gives a state by state directory of stations that sell ethanol free. that's how I found the station near me!

The main reason I asked this question was because I am putting I away for the winter and I know the ethanol is bad for storage and just bad period for small engines. I use premium because I want the best performance I can get and the manual recommends it like most recreational vehicles. when I found this station 10miles away that sells ethanol free gas I'm willing to drive and pay for it for my scooter. it was more expensive, I think regular was $3.20 or so and this stuff is about $4.25+ but my scoot get 85mpg so id rather put the good stuff in it. and im not sure who said it but it makes no sense that regular could be better.

Why? For fun of course! The best /cheapest way I've found: Go to Fred Meyers or wherever and get a poultry thermometer long skinny style. Get the highest temp you can find, avoid digital. Order a spare dipstick, cut the dipstick part off and drill a hole the same size as the thermometer shank. Sick it through and use high heat rtv or glue to seal it in. Booom instant oil temp gauge! For like $20! You can pull over after speed runs and get your oil temp reading.
Love this idea, going to try it. I'm not much of a mechanic but I know basic things and learn a lot from the internet. I enjoy tinkering and keeping my scoot running at top performance

Can't seem to find the fuel screw on mine. Someone said its on left side of carb but I can't find it without taking the whole bike apart to get a good look. (Agility 125)
