Hi all,
I just picked up an 05 Super 9. Great deal. Looking for community ideas/thoughts. This scooter is fast...maybe in the 50-60 mph range?(speedo goes past mph on the speedometer). However it is slow getting there and not as responsive as I'd like( as compared to my 01 Zuma). This Mn weather this year also is making it not consistent. Slight hesitation initially then launches to about 25 mph, slow 30-40 then picks up slowly until the needle can't go no more past the mph on the speedo. As much as I like how fast it is I'd like more up front and consistency too. I believe the scooter is still a 50cc liquid cooled with an Technigas RS pipe and maybe everything else stock. Any recommendations to get this scooter to be a beast? I'm about 130 pounds and ride in Minnesota where it's relatively flat with a few hills. Oh and it sucks going up hills, maybe 20 mph.
