Super 9 / Electric Start Switch
« on: March 16, 2015, 01:37:21 PM »
Hey all,

Last year before winter hit, my Super 9 was tipped over when I parked it outside on the street by some drunk college kids. There was no serious damage to the chasis, however, my electric start switch got jammed into the plastic casing on the handlebar that it is housed in. My question is then how would one go about getting that repaired? Would it be easy enough to take apart by itself? If so how would that be done? Or should I just take it to the repair shop and have them deal with it? I look forward to hearing your advice!

Sincerely,

Brandon

on this website http://www.trikezone.com/scooter-accessories.php it says that "Please be aware that you must have the backrest in order to install the carrier plate." Do I have to worry about that?

Super 9 / NEW SUPER 9 Owner: Help!!
« on: July 25, 2014, 01:58:57 PM »
Hi everyone,

I just purchased an 03 Super 9 last week! I have been loving this scoot since it already has been derestricted :P. I have 2 concerns about it. One is that I want to put a storage box on the back of it, But when I went to Scooterville in Minneapolis, none of the SHAD container brackets fit on the back of my scoot. Does anyone know what model of box will fit right on the back without having to get too many modifications done? Also when I am using the electric start, I always have to give it some gas while starting it. Then it will idle to abut 1900 rpms. My last scooter was a 4 stroke Kymco Filly and this never seemed to be an issue unless it was cold outside. Is this normal for a 2 stroke scoot or is there some maintenance that would be required? Any help would be great!
