I have a solar powered trickle charger that plugs into the socket (in glovebox). Is that actually charging the battery?

I have a question for everyone, are you calculating the MPG by dividing distance traveled by gallons added as per the odometer or are you dividing distance traveled by 1.6 and then dividing by fuel added. I know this sounds confusing but my Like 200i has an odometer that reads in KM's instead of miles and according to Kymco they are all like that.
My mileage is pretty low in comparison to everyone else, but then again my bike still has under 300 km's.
Groversmith- You will definitely stay warmer because your core does not get a direct blast of air. The thing I liked about mine when installed it was the fact that I didn't have to lean forward onto the wind. It allows you to sit back so that your neck is not under strain all the time. You are correct about the instructions though, kind of a Chinese puzzle!
