Hello all. Recent problem with my MXU 150. I is old now, 2006. Recently I fill the tank and it runs ok. When it gets to say half tank it begins to cut out. I can restart but the problem persists. If I fill the tank it runs ok again.  Assume the MXU 150 is gravity fed? Any ideas. Best wishes. Tony

MXU / Still No brakes
« on: March 26, 2019, 04:23:02 PM »
Hi All, thank you to those who contributed to my last post on the same subject. I have installed a new brake caliper on my MXU 150. I also installed new crush washers on both banjo bolts I initially tried to bleed the brakes at the caliper bleed nipple without success. Kymco recommend using a syringe to free the majority of air and then use the normal bleed procedure at the caliper, this I have done until I got clear fluid in the syringe and then went to pumping the brake lever, locking in position and bleed through the caliper bleed screw. I have some pressure in the lever but not enough to apply the new brakes. Can anyone assist. Is it possible the brake disc / rotor needs replacing? Thanks in anticipation.

MXU / MXU 125

I have recently purchased a used MXU 125 (06) and while on tick over the engine sounds sweet when riding there is what I can only describe as as 'stuttering' sound coming from the front of the bike when accelerating or decelerating (transmission?). Any ideas.

I have recently purchased a used MXU 125 (06). The bike ticks over really sweet but once you are riding there is what I can only describe as a 'stuttering' sound coming from the front of the bike when you accelerate or decelerate. The bike runs ok but this sound (transmission?) can be annoying. Any ideas.
