Probably an email or phone call to cyclepedia would be helpful ?

FYI -  In case anyone has a similar query see Cyclepedia’s reply below (note: I might take Greg up on his offer…seems like a nice guy)

I have to say there is little to no chance I will be able to get any more old Kymco manuals.

However these machines were all very similar mechanically, we do work directly with Kymco and our library of Kymco manuals is what the dealers use as well.

If you want to sign up for the manual you mentioned I will be happy to give you access (online) to any of the similar manuals to help find the information you need. We also provide tech support to our users to help solve issues they might encounter.

www.cyclepedia.com wrote the manuals for KYMCOUSA.

Thanks. i saw the website but I only see the manual for years 2000 - 2007 in respect to the People 50 2T. I have a 2009

perhaps the manual remains unchanged and applies to 2009 as well?

Anyone know where I can get ‘hose’ (i.e. vacuum, fuel, etc.) diagram for a 2009 Kymco People 50 2T?

I can not find an actual diagram in the service manual (provided this is the right service manual?? https://manualzz.com/doc/6273282/kymco-people-50-service-manual)

Also, where in the heck is the CDI located?

Thanks!

People 50 / 2009 Kymco People 50 2T- Carburetor dumping Gas
« on: July 14, 2022, 04:40:21 PM »
I am experiencing the problem of an excessive amount of fuel overpowering the float bowl and dumping gas out the rear of the carburetor.

I happened upon the video contained in the following link and at time-stamp 14:16 the creator mentions how he has experienced a similar problem and then mentions the fact that many Dio owners place something under the Gas “?” in order to rectify the problem (note: he doesn’t want to take such an approach (hence why he is installing a “smart carburetor”) but that is besides the point).

My question is, what in the hell is he referring to? I am looking for the workaround he mentions and that many Dio owners have utilized to combat the excessive fuel issue

Thanks!
