People GT 300i / Puig windshield or scoot 66 and top box help.

New People GT300 owner with a windshield question. I am looking for a windshield for my GT300I and want one that will not affect or minimally affect speed. I have seen posts by a gentleman with a slipstreamer scoot 66, but read a review online (dangerous I know) where someone said they dropped from 85 mph to 70 mph with the 66 on and will require an additional hardware kit to attach to my mirror mounts. I may be able to get a Kymco OE windshield which is a Puig, but it looks huge. Sorry for the rambling, but it is early in the morning for me.
My previous bike is a 2013 KLR 650 with the factory tall screen. My commute is changing and I was looking for an automatic. I did not realize how big a hole the KLR was knocking in the wind for me and could be totally relaxed on it at 60.
The factory top case is kind of small and very flexy. Is there a budget swap people have had good success with? In the world of KLR's slinging a tuff tote from walmart on is acceptable behavior (mine currently has a blue milk crate attached, but I am not sure how it would be taken on the People.
I began riding on a 2006 Burgman 400 and have had more scoots than motorcycles. I did own a DT300, but could not fall in love with the riding position on it and went to the KLR which I have owned almost two years now. Decided to go back to a scoot on the People 300 and having to make some "adjustments".
Thanks,
Stuart
