enjoyed reading thru this thread, guys.  thanks for all the insights.  i bought a little agility 125 on cl for $900 and am happier than a pig in slop!  so far so good and it's easy enough to do all the light wrenching and changing myself.  the reason i posted here is i think i may be looking for more power down the line, however can't really have a scooter collection.  compared to say a helix or an elite 250 old school honda what does kymco offer in that line?  i have no problem searching and getting a sharp deal or maybe like some of you guys i may have to use a dealer.  the ride papa describes sounds sweet!  happy scooting all!  keep 'em running right! ;D

:) agree with the other posters in that is a pull over in the us!  in chi-town i have rolled down the street with a microwave on the back and one time a carpet cleaner but that has been the extent of all of that.  here we have to stay off the interstates and technically lake shore drive.  i mean i have dipped on and off the interstates but i will never tell! ditto lake shore drive!  8)  2009 125 agility usa love it!

Agility 125 / Re: Fuel Filter Tutorial
« on: August 12, 2015, 10:53:11 PM »
nah you can do this!  if i can anyone can. 8)  have the agility 125 2009 usa and just wanted to blow some air spray thru the filter.  just vise grip the hose off up near where it leads from the tank to stop the fuel flow and then with a very small pair of needle nose pliers un-twist those little clips from both sides of the filter.  it will then just slip out or you can take it out by unfastening that rubber piece holding it down.  i just pitched those clips and used the screw down 1/4" hose clamps that you can get at the big box hardware stores for cheap.  easier to deal with and now it's an on and off for next time.  good luck and with patience i have wrenched many things on my little ride and saved a lot of $$$  in my major city they charge $50 just to change oil when i do it myself and the plug for under $10! ;D

albeit late congrats on ur ride!  love that look!  i own an agility 125 2009 usa that i adore!  of course it's not the type of bike i would ride for hours on end, but still i am just under 6' and in the 250 lb range or so. for others on the fence i believe that the agility is a very functional ride that even a dolt like me can do some minor wrenching!  like most all on here mention...take care of her and she will take care of you!  happy scooting everybody! :)
