Yes that is correct. That's why my kymco is gone, traded mine for a Teryx. Pleny of aftermarket parts for Kawasaki. So glad I didn't go with Polaris rzr, those things are infesting the trails, I'm so bored of seeing them, it's cool to come across a kymco, artic cat, yamaha, anything different. Kymco should make a pure sport sxs. Then maybe company's would start making some aftermarket goodies for them.

Hey u in the same boat as me, I no longer have a kymco, but live in ne pa. Where is the snow?? I traded my 700i in on a Teryx. Wish I would have went smaller, to many restrictions on trails being 60" wide. Where do u ride, I go to MT Carmel quite often.

I took the baffle and small cat out of the tip of mine when I owned it. No power gains but sounded a little better. It was a 700i. Also welded a 2.5" 90 degree elbow on it. Looked good actually. Wish I could post a pic but I always says file to large.

Give up while you can, my 700i drove me nuts till I traded it in. It was a good machine and never broke down. But I was in the same boat trying to keep up with the group. Clutch kit is all that's available at the time, you can buy the universal rev limiter for a higher limit; but I decided not to go that route due to having to break into the ecu box and soldering wires. But it's up to you, the website is magnum tuning.

Hahaha. There's the ball bustin, sucks cause I just got out of the dentist office, kinda hurts to laugh right now. Don't be scared to look under it, I never really investigated much why exhaust glows, prolly just my machine did it. And we comparing SxS to atv. I have met people on the trails with atv's and they love them. Just never seen another uxv on the trails.
Enjoy the vacation! Put some miles on it.

Yeah it's only a matter of time till parts come out for kymco, I would prolly buy the uxv 450i, the new front end is pretty cool looking. And it will fit in the state parks around here. I am very limited to where I can ride. I'm too wide. I put the dynojet power commander and stage 3 vforce John clutch in the Teryx, seems perfect right there. Was gonna put the muzzys exhaust system on but I don't really want to be that loud. And it was close to $1000, no thanks.

I'll have to keep watching for that atv, like to see that when it's finished!

I did really like my kymco, I do like to bust balls also. I just basically got ripped by the salesman, I am the type that can't let stuff alone, and don't have the right tools to do a wicked al conversion. The salesman told me this and that and in the end it tried ordering parts and there was none available. And I am still positive there was something wrong with mine, It had to be running lean or something to make the exhaust glow and backfire a lot. Sometimes it would quit and not want to start right back up. That gets a little scary when u are far out the trails. As for John Deere thanks for the warning, but I'll never get one of them. I will prolly buy another kymco next spring, I am looking at the mongoose 300 for my son. Price is unbelievable.

I was checking out ur pics, looks like fun. You deffinatly stand out with that machine. Starting line, Polaris, Polaris, artic cat, Polaris, oh wait what's that a kymco? And I'm  not sure what that 4wheeler is on your Facebook pics, but that has to be the most awsome atv I have ever seen.

No, since I rode something different I realize it is a turd. Just to many things I got to hate about it. #1 was the exhaust pipe that glowed red all the way to the muffler, that isn't right. Took it back to the dealer to get check and was told that is normal? No way that pipe will split eventually under that heat. Or burn down the forest. #2 was getting my ass handed to me everytime I went riding. I got the 700i sp thinking since it looked cool it would have some power. #3 the shifter also felt like crap going into gear, always had to tap the pedal to get it to engage. That is a royal pain when plowing snow, my new machine goes into gear flawless everytime. it worked and did its job, just wasn't for me.

Nevermind I sold the turd. Lesson learned buy name brand. Kymco just not there yet.

I looked at the wiring diagram it is a solid violet leaving the ecu and going to the speed sensor. Wish it would tell me where the sensor is, but of course like any thing to do with kymco it's a pain. Sell it if u have the option, I was hesitant to get rid of mine, but now that I did I couldn't be happier.

Did you ever get it fixed?

Yes they look sweet with 30" bfg's, my opinion. Seen a rhino with the long arm kit and 30's. And I cut my exhaust tip off and put a 1.5" tip on it, looked way better than the very small tip on it stock. I noticed no power gains. Still had the spark arrester just no cat. Wish I could post a picture but I give up on that. Good luck at the next race. Make another video that was cool to watch.

Update on the Teryx: I love it, getting the power commander for it this weekend, wanted to get exhaust but it's around $900 for the full kit. No way, I'll stay quiet for that price. Mainly trail ride anyway, no need to disturb the wild life. I had to laugh the first ride I went on, it's governed at 50mph, really? Come on. Thankfully there is aftermarket for this machine. It was hard to hand the keys to the 700i sp over but now I'm not regretting at all.

Yeah that's exactly what happened. You got water in the clutch housing. That happened to a friend of mine with a rhino. Unfortunately he had to disassemble the housing due to how thick the mud was. If you drain yours and it is still acting up. Take it apart, and hose it down.
Creek water =drain and dry
Mud water = tear it apart, clean, then dry.
