Agility 50 / Re: Gas tank

If the scooter sat around unused for a while, the sensor could just be stuck. You can remove it and use PB blaster to lube it, or go fishing for the float with a bent clothes hanger. Sometimes just shaking the scooter or going over a rough bump helps.

Now I feel silly, had a good look with a torch, and saw the sensor floating freely  ::)

Well I've ordered a new one and will fit that when it arrives!

Do you have a known good battery? A dead battery will throw off the gas gauge.

That's a good shout, I better give that a charge first. If it's not, what else would you suggest?

Hi all

Today I found out the hard way my fuel gauge/sensor has broken.

How do I fix this, really desperate for some help!

Thanks

Agility 50 / AGILITY 50 - UPGRADE PARTS
« on: May 12, 2015, 10:26:33 PM »
Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and have recently bought an agility 50, love it! :)

Fun, smooth ride. Not as nippy as I would like.

So I researched and figured the best way to upgrade it would be to change the boss to a smooth one, buy a derestricted cdi, and remove the restrictor in the exhaust?

Are there any other things I am able to do? Will this exceed 15 bhp? (I doubt it haha  ;))

My last scooter was a HONDA SFX50 but that just died on me and I didn't have the knowledge to fix it, but I never tinkered or played around with that.

Thanks all
