Here's the thing.... if you have enough weight on there to bottom out your shocks and rub a hole through your fender with your tire, then it's too much... otherwise, load her up!!!   8)

General Discussion / differences between years?
« on: June 13, 2010, 08:10:56 PM »
Hello All,
Anyone have info on the changes that were made to People 150's over the years? I have a 2009 that needs some major parts, nd i have a donor people as well, but it is older. I think it;s a 2003 or 2006. I am trying to figure out if things like body panels, headet, handlebars and wiring harness can be interchanged. All info appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hello all! I have a 2009 people 150 that I need to get some parts for. I have access to another people, but it's older.... somewhere between a 2003 to 2006.... just trying to find out if they made changes during that time? I'm hoping to use the boldt panels, as well as the head set from the older one and put them on the newer one... also hoping to maybe use the wiring harness. Any info will help. Thank you so much!

« on: September 14, 2009, 06:39:58 PM »
Just want to give a bump to the JAMBOREE as it is now less than one week away! Online registration is available at thescootshop.com if you want to sign up early. This is the first event of its kind in Sacramento, and we'd like to make it an anual get together.... So come on out and show your support for the scooter community here in Sacramento and in surrounding areas! Also, it is a fundraiser for a local organization who helps children through the arts, so it's all for a good cause! Hope to see you there!!!!

« on: September 07, 2009, 07:11:59 AM »
So, for those of you who have not yet heard, we (The Scoot Shop) are sponsoring a Sacramento scooter rally September 19th - 20th. Saturday evening September 19th we will have all kinds of fun at a Meet & Greet from approximately 5-10pm at The Scoot Shop. There will be a live band, fire spinning, once it's dark, and a scooter art show by acclaimed Chicago artist Casey Sachen. Sunday, September 20th will begin at 10am with a ride for charity around the Capitol City. All shapes, colors and sizes of scooters are welcome! Proceeds will benefit T&M Organization for the Arts, right here in Sacramento. The ride will conclude at The Scoot Shop where there will be music, food, beer and lots of fun scooter events. We will hold a raffle to benefit T&M with a scooter raffled off as the main prize! Don't miss out on this fun, local scooter event and support a great local charity. There will also be donation bins at The Scoot Shop to collect art supplies for children in our community. Registered participants will get a rally pack including a t-shirt, lunch and drink tickets and more. Registration is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. You can register by phone or in person at The Scoot Shop. We want this to be an annual event, so come show your support and help us raise some money for a local community charity.
