Terrible way to test your helmet; head to asphalt but the Gmax full face actually saved my life.

Hi "Papa Sold" really enjoyed your account of the encounter with the Honda. You should be on the other side of that weirdness. I'm a little corpulent, [fat for friends in Alabama], and when I ride my CanAm Spyder there's no telling what's going to happen. I literally was pulled over one afternoon by a civilian who wanted to ask questions about a 3-wheeled motorcycle. And to make a fuel stop you need to allow an hour for all the Bubba's to line up; "hey is that a Harley?", "No it's a hemi!" But I love my Spyder almost as much as my Kymco Xciying!

Hello everybody it's good to be back! Totaled my Xciting 500 back in 2012 after a wreck with a deer. A few broken bones and a 3-wheel trike; the CanAm Spyder, and I was no longer in the scooter game. And then last year I was back in the same motorsports business that I bought the 09 Xciting 500Ri and there on the showroom floor was an identical scooter except it had a 250i on it's side. I work out a deal with a salesperson and then went home and was totally emasculated by Mrs Foxtrot and that was the end of that! And now a year later I totally tightened up my truss and went and bought the damn scooter! Except for acceleration and performance issues it seems like a better handling bike than the 500 but that's probably because it's lighter. Well it's good to see that some of my old friends are still active. You all should still remember me as Mike Green.

Xciting 250 / New Xciting 250

Deja Vu all over again!
in Sept of 2012 I was riding my Xciting 500 after dark when a deer ran in front causing a panicked stop resulting in broken ribs and broken foot. insurance totaled my Xciting so I used the settlement to purchase a 2009 Can Am Spyder RS which is a wonderful bike. But 2 wheels are like horses and they get in your blood and never leave. I really missed my scooter over these past years and I found a new 2009 Xciting 250 at my dealer. Like an idiot I bought this scoot at what I was told was the dealer's cost. I have had to adjust to the smaller displacement but on acceleration is the only area that I have found lacking. It will get on up to 65-70 mph on the interstate and seems to want to roll on!
