As opposed to Occam's Razor?  Which would posit that, as the most common marque, Honda would be the likeliest culprit?

The funny thing in this is that I don't even know if the engine is ok because I never heard the sound of it!

But you will, I am sure!

that's a great idea, Scooterfan! I don't think I've ever read about anyone having separate wheels and tires to swap onto their scooter. When you get the knobbies on you'll have to post a pic.

Yes I know that. But I don't know the procedure to adjust the fuel mix

So the focus now shifts to the starter motor?

Yes indeed!

I already pulled mine from the engine, opened it and cleaned thoroughly cleaned. Gently sanded the brushes and contacts.

Obviously nothing changed  ;D so I, again, pulled the trigger and bought one on Amazon.

Let's see what happens  :)

Michelin CityGrip wil be a very good  choice but I’ve actually bought an extra set of rims for my Agility, as well as as a set of dual purpose  /“knobbies” for exploring backroads in our area.

I did some reading elsewhere and someone has mentioned that the dual purpuse tires at one of his two Agilities offers a better grip on all road conditions.

The tires on my Agility were still in almost new condition and it would be total sin just to replace it. Therefore I decided to buy the extra rims. The knobbies still need to be mounted.

I am not bothered that much about mileage on tires any longer. If the knobbies do not last I can still put the original rims and tires back in place. In the meanwhile I should be able to discover the scenery at the backroads with confidence.

Downtown 300 / Re: Throttle body cleaning

Spraysoak the throttle body entirely, let it sit a minute or two then use a vacuum cleaner to get the dirt and cleaner out. Wipe with a clean cloth.
I'm completely dismantling it from the engine. I'm taking it out.

AFAIK (pls see pic) the only adjustment on this carb can be made in this opening (red arrow) with a special D-screwdriver.

Second regulation is with the idle wheel (black handle) to adjust your air intake.
