General Discussion / NSR, MotoGuzzi V65 Lario 4valve, new patient..
« Last post by Ruffus on March 30, 2025, 08:56:35 PM »
Since my MG Nevada 750 is completed and  my wife is sincerely convinced that, man need to be busied, a new project was granted to me.

An abused MotoGuzzi V65 Lario 4 valve found its way into my shop and has to be converted in a Cafe Racer with a vintage touch. See first pics. Will update once in a while.

Spraysoak the throttle body entirely, let it sit a minute or two then use a vacuum cleaner to get the dirt and cleaner out. Wipe with a clean cloth.

Its not really exciting dirty, but could use a cleaning.

How on earth did you deduce from the OP that this was a Honda Stig?  Are you psychic or was it some sort of Holmesian deductive reasoning?
beginning with the principle that once you have eliminated the impossible, “whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth”

Could not see this transparent windshield anymore, so I got an original from eighties but was in bad shape and had to be fillered and painted. With temps in 20°C outdoor spraypaint is easier.
Also changed to LED indicators with running sequence.

This is good news👍👍! Congratulation!
So you encircled the culprit and brought 'em down.
I would never have thought of this option!?

Angelo, take a new aftermarket from Amazon, just look them up, they are inexpensive.

Make sure this groundpoint behind the startermotor is perfectely well.
