Help with slider install
«

I have ran into a problem while working on installing a set of sliders. Everything goes together fine until I go to put the outside pulley face on. It will not slide into the spines and appears to be hitting the spacer(Kymco calls it the boss I think) before it can go far enough on. In other words it just won't slide on far enough to engage the spline. It looks like it's missing by about an eighth of an inch or so.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If I'm not mistaken, the inner half comes off the shaft and you lay it down and then put the two halves together.
This keeps the rollers in place. Urbestfriend "Shredded Belt under GV, but it was an Xcit. 250".

I think your hitting the belt
if so
pry the clutch open a little pull the belt into the clutch and pull the belt forward to make room for the front pulley to drop all the way in
otherwise you are pinching the belt on the front pulley
good luck it should be real easy
