Differences between U.S. Efi 500s and Euro EFI 500s?

I have a 2009 500ri abs with the old style single headlight. In europe for the same year the xciting's had the dual facelift headlight (I think). Were there any mechanical differences besides the fairing? Reason I ask is because Dr. Pulley lists their 28x22 sliders for the 'old style' xciting and they list 29x22 sliders for the "new style" xciting.  Is the 'old' style the carb version worldwide and the 'new' style  the injected version worldwide with either style headlights or has the injected version been made in 2 variants, i.e. does the U.S. 2013 Xciting RI abs differ from the U.S. 2009 Xciting 500RI in ways other than the fairing?

29x22mm 33g rolls are for the new Xciting 500i Evo. 28x22mm 31g for the old Xcting 500i.
But the vario wasn't changed with the Evo. According to "Dirk" (from German Dr.Pulley) any of them would work.
The bigger diameter (29) of the new rolls can lead to slightly more topspeed and the increased weight reduces emissions.

Thanks for the clarification.  Is the twin headlight Xciting circa 2009 in Europe and 2013 US considered the EVO?  What I've found is they only sold the 2008 old style headlight 500RI in europe for one year, in 2009 they started selling the new style whereas they weren't available here until 2013. Addtionally, the 'old' style 500RI ABS looks like it was never available in Europe as it seems ABS was introduced in 2009 and by then the european version had already transitioned.  I could be wrong though. Confusing.

My 2007 USA x500 has 28x22 30 gram as stock.

Yes.
The old style 500i was introduced 2006 in Europe.
