Weird Throttle Problem
« on: December 18, 2013, 12:41:47 PM »
Hello,

So I'm selling the bike. I decided too clean out the carb (with help) after putting the carb back in the bike starts up perfectly, however when I apply the throttle it cuts out.

If anyone can help it would be appreciated and you'll never have me bother this forum again!

Thanks

Check to see if the throtle cable is at the right spaceing wear it bolds down at next to the carb. If back to far it will do that. sounds like it needs looseing up a  littl.e give a little slag in the cable. And also by the handle bars you can tighten or loosen up. good luck

It sounds like the air filter isn't installed.  Small scooters usually won't run without the air filter in place.
