New Year's Ride
« on: January 01, 2014, 07:46:31 PM »
Spent 2 hrs on the scoot today - snow is coming tomorrow.
Seemed like I had Ohio pretty much all to myself today......super relaxing after the attack by the Ford P-UIp coming home in the snow yesterday. (learned my lesson...do NOT watch the road for snow...keep watching those side street cars! Jerk almost got me because I was focussed on the road conditions and lost track of side streets until he came at me.)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I was tempted to go out today for about a minute.   :)  So, instead, I just ran it for a few minutes.  It started like a champ in this 30 degree weather.

Husband's HD would not start!    Both bikes are on battery tenders.  Sadly, there is just a little personal satisfaction in this fact.

Right there with ya, Stig. Just got back from taking a little 30 minute spin, and it was a perfect way to start the new year! You really have to watch the other motorists because at this time of year, they just aren't expecting anyone to be riding a scooter or motorcycle - just isn't on their radar.
