So far I like the way my Avon viper strike handles, but I'll have to wait and see how long it last? :-*

Yo tambien, or Me too on the Michelin City Grips. Shenko wear out because they are sticky for racing. South Texas roads are hot in the summertime and cool in the winter. Melt or cook anything that does not keep moving.

Michelin City also provide a confident ride in the rain. I have been caught in some serious S. Texas fall squalls where the rain comes hard, cold and sideways.

+1 on the City Grips. Have had them on two scoots so far.  They do great in the rain.  But it's a nail biter keeping them at the recommended rear 36psi on the 500 since they list max inflation at 33psi on the sidewall but so far no problems.

At 34 front is that 1 up to 2 up? I find at over front 30psi solo riding my steering gets a little squirrely even though I weigh 205lbs. How is it for you at 34 and how much do you weigh?

Michelin City Grips are what I use.  I'm on my second one for the rear.  I don't think I'll ever use another brand then these.
