Saw this star on Easter morning.

New Bestem 929 on my LIKE200i

A better picture of the running lights.

With the brakes applied...(a second row of LEDs come on for a brighter strip + a light on the lid of the case.

If anyone claims that they can't see you at night now, they should have their driver's license taken away!!!

Good evening Momma B, That is my much over due Xmas present - a Bestem 929. It was the only reasonably priced , ready made , top box with running and brake lights that I could find on the web. Have had it since November - I'm so lousy at sorting electrical things it took me this long to get it out of the box. Of course, turned out not to be so hard after all!

Sorry got so caught up in the pictures forgot to read captions. I might have to save up for one. Was it hard to do the lights?

Lights were not too hard - once I figured out how to get to the tail light/brake bulb behind the red lens, and decided which of the many ways there are to tie/splice into those 3 wires coming out of the tail light (used cyclepedia to see the wiring diagram)
I bought 3 ft of #18 wire in 3 colors and  splice fittings and spliced in my new wires a few inches behind the bulb holder. Fished the wires up to the rear of the seat, and then on into the top case.
I found other top cases and light kits to put on them - but they were $100 more than this Bestem 929 which came with running and brake lights fitted  as standard.
Bought the Bestem and spent $6 on the supplies to install it on my LIKE.
