Anyone else ride in snow yesterday?
« on: April 17, 2014, 12:54:43 AM »
Rode home from work in wind & now showers yesterday....temps in the mid 30's.
Was just so happy to be riding away from work that I took the long way home , and then stretched that even a bit more out into the country. A 6'3" guy wearing a hi viz jacket and a size XXXX helmet on a blue & white plastic scooter thru the Land of F-150's in a snow storm is proof that I'm at the age of Couldn't Care Less.
The snow wasn't sticking - so it just looked cool bouncing off of my face sheild.
Waiting for my out-pt surgery today I changed my gear oil. Going to try riding in Depends tomorrow - until things heal up! :)

I rode in it a few weeks ago, here in Illinois. People thought I was crazy, but it wasn't too bad.
But, the Harley guys, at the bar where I play dart league, don't make fun of the scoot as much now. Although one of them did comment that I have more balls than engine!!
