Try pushing the seat down when turning the key.
TO get to the seat locking mechanism:
Remove the passenger grab bar (6mm hex socket bolts x4)
Remove the rear plastic cover (a few screws, lift and pull up)
You can now access the 2 seat latches. Pull on the cables to open the latches. If not, use a flat screwdriver to push the latches.
