Page 15 of my LIKE200i owner's manual (October 2009 printing) warns not to use ethanol or methanol because :"it can corrode metal parts of your scooter's fuel system, and can damage plastic and rubber parts. Repairs to damage caused by improper fuel usage will not be covered by your scooter's limited warranty"
So, it is written in some manuals - and not in others
