After the tornadoes
« on: May 22, 2014, 04:50:26 PM »
Folks are still fussing about whether we had 2 funnels, supposedly  sighted by "trained weather observers",  3 blocks and 5 blocks from here .....thankfully they did not touch the ground last evening....but the straight line winds were ....impressive.
Out this morning on the scooter - glad to see the big thunder heads moving off to the S.E. at day break.

Series of pix taken this morning.

First - some nutrition...

Best friends saying good bye.....

Watch for downed limbs....

Thunder-heads moving off....

Not sorry to see them go. (had the family & the dog in the hallway with pillows and blankets when it was sighted 3 blocks away. That was a first.) Stig
