No doubt a nodded 2t has higher maintenance but stock vs stock 2t requires less upkeep.

You're wrong.

It costs more to run 2t. Stock or modded.  Never seen a 2 stroke car have ya? Just add up the cost of oil alone.

2t
!00MPG
! gallon = 4oz  oil (avg)
12 bucks a qt 2t oil (avg)
8 gallons per qt.
Avg. 3.50 a gallon = 36.00 + 12 (oil) 48.00 = 800 miles = 0.06 cents per mile

4t
100 MPG
fuel cost same 36.00
Motor oil 6.00 (avg)
Twice a year? Lets say 3000 miles = 2.50
36 + 2.50 = 38.50= 800 miles = 0.04 cents per mile

My modded QMB gets around 80 mpg
     Modded SC10AS gets around 20-25

It's apples, and oranges son!

I have a kymco people 50 2007 and my engine has decided to blow up on me, would a kymco agility 50 2007 engine fit?

Help us out here!  Kymcos have different model names in different countries, so many of us won't have a clue what a Kymco "Agility" is.  Tell us if it's a 2-stroke or a 4-stroke, then we can help.

The '07 Agility is a 4t engine. Similar to the QMB 139

The People is a 2t engine similar to the S9.

The big issues are the wiring is totally different, and the engine mounts have to be re-designed.

Cost effective wise it's a winner because the 4t is cheaper in every way. Parts/cost to run. Personally I like the idea, and would do it only if YOU understand the wiring. It's all there you just need to rewire the head/tail lights, and add a new rectifier/CDI to match the 4t stator. or use the 2t stator/flywheel if they fit (I never tried that)

If you go for it I would also consider adding 3" to the engine mount length, and make a spacer for the rear shock of approx. 1 1/4"
This will greatly enhance the ride-ability for adult size riders.

12' rear tire 16' front would look and perform retarded. A people 150 swap mow that's where it would be at.
