Welcome Kymco Owners!
I'm planning for a 400 miles trip in one day, so it will be 800 miles round trip on my DT300ianyone done that before? My plan is to take 80% HWY and cruising at 70~75 mph, any comments/thoughts?
I rode from jacksonville fl to virginia beach and back in three days right after break in on my DT300. I did as I have with any bike be it the HD or my old people 200. I'm a early riser so I ran i95 for a couple of hours from 5:30 am until about 7:30. Then I duck off on to the side roads. That's if I had to be somewhere on a given date. If not all back roads for me !Can't see America from a super slab so all the "charm" is on the side.Enjoy the ride.Be Big,AMAC
"How far is too far ?" Answer: When she slaps you !
I found if you walk for five to ten minuits when you fill up gas, your ride is a lot easyer,. every 200 miles with a downtown 300i,.
I don't mind running four strokes at redline as long as the engine oil has had time to rise to operating temperature. When the oil is warm and flowing everywhere, there is a minimum of wear.Beware that engine coolant warms up quicker than engine oil. Coolant may be at operating temperature, but the oil may only be lukewarm!
Me too,I take my Scion up to it's 112MPH every time I go to the grocer's.Love these 4 strokes!Stig

Hey, I work at a Walmart! I wish they'd let me ride my scoot around the store. It would be SO much easier to chase down shoplifters running for the exit!!
