LIKE200i observation
« on: July 31, 2015, 10:02:07 AM »
Riding the LIKE200i to work this morning after several days off of it.
Very first observation: really smooth and fuss-free pulling out of the drive.
2nd - feeling almost no engine vibration....sewing machine-like drivetrain smoothness.
Sure....noisy bunch of mechanical stuff going on under my rump.....nothing untoward....scooter stuff.
This us in comparison to 2 weeks riding the Burgman.
9000+ miles on the Kymco, 325 on the Suzuki.
237cc's difference in single cylinder engines.....or the 32.75" custom built seat might have something to do with the smoothness!
I remember riding a 441 single BSA yrs ago.... I swear you could feel ea. time the plug fired at idle! :-)
So maybe that's what's going on here....
Love my LIKE.

Hey Stig I know exactly what you mean. I had a BSA B-40 350cc road bike. It was really tractable though when puttering along on gravel back roads. BTW lovin' my Like too! ;)

Try riding a thumper 650cc KLR for 3 hours straight, when you hop off folks think your having an epileptic seizure or worse. Feels like you just touched 240 volts for 60 seconds. For some it's better than sex. They call them thumpers for a reason kids.
