« on: August 01, 2014, 02:59:58 PM »
heinen motorsports in Osseo, MN has new 2013's for $1199:
http://www.heinenmotorsports.com/sales.html

(I am not affiliated, nor have I ever been in their store.  I have a couple of Agility 50s, and have been looking around to maybe add a 125 to the stable.)

The price is good but you need to get the "on the road price." My new 2010 was $1000 in 2013 before add on fees.

One thing about newer models, I really don't like that two part seat.

yep, I stopped in there Saturday.  They want a $175 set up fee.  Only other fees are TTL. They have about a half dozen in stock.

Not sure what you mean about the two part seat...do you mean the passenger seat that folds up to become a backrest?  That feature is on my 2013 Agility 50s, but is not on the 2013 Agility 125.  The 125 had a one-piece seat that can seat 2 people.

I did verify (saw another post on the topic in this forum) that the 125 does have a clock.

Oh, I thought the new seat was two parts; that's good news.

The clock is significant. It's doesn't keep great time and is hard to set, but it is really nice to know the time as you cruise around.

unless they changed it for 2014...
in any event, I decided to buy one, and am picking it up Saturday.  It will be fun to compare it to my 2013 agility 50.
I'd just as soon not have the clock...I won't ride this thing often, have no power for a trickle charger in my (condo) garage, so don't want the additional battery drain. Long winters here in MN!  I'll just have to start it and run it around the garage once a week or so, I guess.

Not picking up until tomorrow, but it should be $1595:  1199, plus 175 setup, plus 221 sales tax/registration/title

picked up my red agility 125 on Saturday.  $1595.63 out the door.  They "forgot" to have it set up, so I had to wait well over an hour...at least I got one right out of the crate. Then they only gave me ~1/2 tank of gas!
 >:(

2013 model...same as our 2 agility 50s.  I thought I'd read somewhere that the 125 was a little longer with more legroom, but that is not the case, per the Kymco sales brochure specs and my eye.  In fact, the two models look identical to me other than the 125 has the clock, the one-piece seat (darn it), and a 125 sticker.

it started and ran great driving home.  it was about 12 miles in a little wind/rain, and I only got it to top out at about 47-48 mph...however, I didn't really crank it full throttle as I want to break it in easily.  I did notice an improvement in acceleration compared to the 50, but maybe not quite as much as I was expecting.  after break-in, will have to have a few drag races with my wife to see how the scoots compare.

now time to take that duckbill rear fender off...which will leave me holes that don't match up with the license plate again...

One thing on the a125 that makes a HUGE difference is lighter slider weights. Also keep in mind the agility is a gy6 engine so you can get up to 165cc without modifying the case!!!!! Then it'll fly!!!!!

Oh man, that's one of the best parts of this scoot. Popping it up for lumbar support on long rides makes a huuuge difference in comfort. It also affords a lot more room that most scoots don't have. I've been able to get a 24 pack of beer (bottles) with the extra space using a bungee net and it was totally secure. Best feature on my Agility!
