Holiday scooters
« on: November 27, 2014, 05:19:13 PM »
When it is above 20 degrees Fahrenheit for the morning commute to work I always take the long loop around and through town. It was 21 yesterday....and I found some Xmas lights downtown! Only had a cell phone for a camera.
(I always carry the cell phone in the breast pocket of my armored jacket.....if I come off the scoot maybe I can still call 911.)

I like the modifier Picts. They make a surreal image but it is still quite clear what they convey. Happy Holidays Stig!

I am looking for a group of people to do the holiday light show thing.  BUT not related to the topic.  Try something called CRADAR (CRAsh Detection And Response) which is a smart phone application.  When you go down, it actually will send a message with your GPS location to a predetermined phone number.  To avoid false calls, you can place it on a timer.  So the call is made after 1 minute for example.

Thanks hound...
I'm going to look into that!
I ride in the boonies where this could be a good idea if things go south one day.
Will get my teenager to show me how it's done.
