18 degrees Fahrenheit this am commute (45 mins....just about all my fingers can take)
Using the Like200i every day this week for work ride. I really think this is a great urban scooter...(too light & short to play in traffic at 45-50+)... seems engineered to beat cars to the next light. Actually, I think it is built to do that for Asian riding.
This scooter fires so quickly at the touch of the button....goes right into a steady idle at the proper RPM, and smoothly zips me off into the bitterly cold night .
I'd wish for better lighting in front, esp. on dark wet roads...but I'm lit up like a circus wagon from the rear (Bestem 929 lighted case back there)...the brakes are amazing. City Grips working super with 7000 miles on them. A rear in another 2000 or so...the front looks to be good until the Rapture.
Scoot is running great (hellsbells he replaced the coil, cap, plug, injector, fuel pump, vacuum lines trying to solve the driveability issue.... and he replaced the belt and rollers months ago...and sets the valve lash every 1500 miles and changes out both oils at half of that.
The body panels are as new....tight and fade free.
Still pulls me hard up long steep hills (i.e., no loss of as-new power noted, yet)
Some guys report that there scoot runs better every year....well, I doubt that..(these are small engined economy scoots....not big-metal German fire breathing multi-cylindered monsters.....).but happy they think that way when they look at it.
Still enjoying and forgetting all about the seat since I rebuilt it...adding about 3 or 4" to the ride height.
A happy customer, here...
