"Searing douchebaggery" is what did it for me! I KNOW what he is talking about perfectly. What to do about it is another matter. Dark enough to have all those lights on? Not too dark to talk on the phone. I'm in a hurry and THIS douchebag in front of me is SO slow. I'll just crowd him A LOT to give him a message, it will make me feel superior. And IF he finds a way to retreat successfully, it will make me feel SO SUPERIOR! This scenario repeats so often in so many places it begs to be a part of "human nature." People do this without vehicles. They do it in lines and just walking around the mall.
I think the only action on our part is to withdraw and save ourselves so we can involve later. What we have to watch for is being overtaken in a real highspeed chase prolonged by some pinhead cop. Find a place to break right or left and let 'em go.

I sell LED lights so I have a whole bunch of them on my Ford Excursion and when I light it all up, I can turn my regular head lights off and I can't tell the difference.
HOWEVER, I have these lights on TWO switches and BOTH have to be on in order for the lights to come on.
I only have them on when I drive on country roads and I immediately dim them if I see someone coming.
Two of the local cops (that I happen to know...small town) were out riding together one evening but they were on a side road so I didn't immediately see
their lights so I didn't dim my lights as fast as I normally do.
They told me about this afterwards. They said it looked like a damn UFO when I came down the road and one of them said, "that must be George"
Again, lights are great but dammit, keep it the hell out of everyone's eyes and rear view mirrors.
