Are there any other kymcos that have the same tranny (especially gearbox/gear reduction box at rear tire)? it might just bring new hope for finding the much needed performance primary drive gear set.

I'd ask Josh from  http://www.tsgtuning.com/location.html  He's our beloved S 9 expert. (well mine anyway).

It does share the same case as the people 2t, and the agility 2t. As to where you get the gears... Ask Josh.

Really? Thats surprising. the market for them has been vanishing over the recent years. Maybe it's just the lowered gas prices?

The racer that rode that bike is Allen Spears. He's a member here. He's won several class records on that bike before the sidecar was added.
He's also the guy that got me my Motorscooter International Land Speed Federation membership, and patch.

My ZX missed the C class 1 mile speed record by 7mph. (82.3 was my single run) It'll tune up, and get it. I just lost interest, and have it sitting under cover. Maybe some day. The records going nowhere...

wow that's really cool. i bet that super 9 hauled. too bad he isn't doing a part out or i could get all the performance parts i need to turn mine into a monster

Throw your 9 into the GoodWill dumpster, and buy mine. It's much faster than his.

That S9 is set up for reliable long distance not speed. That bike does 65-66 top, and the reliability/attention to detail has nothing over mine.

Actually I changed my mind. I'm keeping mine.

The side car is a fuel cell. It's 7 gallons of grocery space.

It is a bad ass bike but like mine it's purpose built. It's NOT a daily driver by any means. Just a simple tune up is a couple hour process. That's why mine sits. Like a monument to money in my shed.

Hahaha well mine goes pretty much 70 in the flats, could go for the gear set though, but i can still take it on the main roads from town to town so its all good. got mine stock with 2500km for 900$ and rebuilt it. i still have stock clyinder/exhaust etc. of course.

And by not a daily driver do you mean its got a high rpm powerband? not gonna lie i usually go 45-50 in the 25 mph zones and 60 in the back roads  ;)
