Sadly Stig lost his daughter, and I can't see posting any more tonight.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I found myself tearing up on more than one occasion this weekend for the man we call "stig". Life once in a while reminds us that we are here for just a short while and some of us unfortunately less than others. In the end we are all loved and missed. Something almost unbearable yet people get through it, even though at the time it seems an impossible feat. I could not imagine this happening in my life and what it would do to me. I found myself wanting to do something as a small gesture to the man who has given so much to us through his stories and photographs. So with that in mind I created a logo the other night as I tried to comprehend a loss such as this. My thought is to get this logo made into a decal (white) and plaster it on my scoot in tribute to the man who is going through tough times and to remind us to hold our loved ones near and dear to us. My 2015 riding season will be dedicated to the Stig. I was wondering if others would want to do the same. My plan is to make it no more than 3 1/2" long so most would have a place to put it on their scoot. I will take care of mailing them out to individuals who want one. The first 25 responders will get one (if we think this is a good idea).

It has been suggested that I have some sort of fee for the decals and then forward the money to the stig family for a memorial. I like this idea but I will make my donation by getting the decals created and mailed to the first 25 who respond (2 go to the stig if he wants). If at some point if the stig feels like it, he can post a link to a memorials website (most funeral homes do this now) and you can make any donation you feel appropriate directly.
