Repair Manual Wrong Again
« on: March 17, 2015, 01:28:13 PM »
Cyclepedia has had 2 things wrong with it's repair manual so far. The service increments are slightly off from the owners manual. Also the process of replacing the air filter was wrong. Cyclepedia would have you remove the trunk, luggage rack, seat and underseat, front panel, back panel, side panel, license plate panel, unplug the lights, then the f'n filter cover and filter. Guess what. You can say f that and just pull the airbox cover and filter. I'm gonna guess this type of retarded over kill is throughout the repair manual.

You know what's funny? Even the factory Kymco manual has different service intervals than the owners manual! They vary a lot, like almost 1000km for some bikes!
2002 Kymco B&W 300; MRP 78MM "300CC", Naraku cam, Yoshimura rS3 exhaust, 17g Sliders, Yellow torque spring drilled airbox, stock carb #115 main #40 pj.

2001 "Yamaha" Zuma AKA MBK Booster; MHR OverRange, Dellorto 19mm BHBG, Polini "big" intake, RS-3 Rear shock, Stock cylinder.
