PHBG jetting
« on: May 05, 2015, 11:16:27 AM »
Hey i recently bought a uni for my dellorto phbg malossi carb kit that was tuned to my malossi cylinde on my super 9. However, i got a range of jets and it seems that even the #42 idle jet that was on origionally is too rich, (mixture screw has to be abou all the way in and it dies woth the choke on). My question is, i thought that with the new air filter than the very restrictive airbox , i would have to upjet. Is it possibly that i may need to downjet the idle jet? Original jetting was too lean so i think that the main jet may be increasing fuel flow at idle.
