With my latest exhaust issue, it seems that it all comes down to the warranty. KYMCO wants to make sure that if they are offering a warranty that the scooter is taken care of by the proper personnel. Now that is their side of the story and I can understand that. The problem comes in when you know more than the mechanic working on it and they won't listen to you. Part of a dealers survival is the service dept. I just don't understand not having the proper personnel unless there is a shortage of good scooter mechanics out there. Also could be that there are only about 30,000 scoots sold per year in the USA. That's not very many of you look at the number of scooter dealers in the USA.
