300 Kymco size
« on: May 03, 2015, 01:02:56 PM »
Was poking around a dealer Saturday, they had a pair of 300 scooters parked next to each other. A Forza and a Kymco.....I noticed that the Kymco is a somewhat taller scooter. It was the burnt orange one....orig. stickered at $5600, same as Forza, but marked down $1000.....and this dealer is pretty notorious for never dealing on their bikes.
Anyway....that Kymco 300 is a pretty good sized scooter, esp. for that price. The appointments seemed well made....I can see why it is such a popular scoot here.
Too bad about the local servicing though. But, I would not let that stop me from buying any scooter. A scooter is  too much fun....I'd travel 100's miles to bring a good one home.
Riding mine to church this morning...first time!(they have concrete area just for bikes)

Ever since Stiggy bought the hondog do you notice his snootiness has risen some? He's a traitor to the cause I say.

If your going to negotiate the price on that Kymco do it on the out the door price, I've experienced fees going up if you get a deal just on the scoot price.

I bet it was the Downtown. And in response to the snootyness. I was a Like 200i owner and forum lurker. He was far snootier about the Like right up until I jumped ship for the GT. Funny thing he jumped ship shortly after. I'd say he's gotten better.  PS Stig I'm just messing with you. You're good people in my book.

Just saying that the burnt orange 300 Kymco looked like a lot of scooter. But I guess a lot of members already know that.
Sometimes it seems there are more 300 owners here - than other models.
Still not crazy about that color....but then I'm not a fan of most big scoot colors.
(to me, gray is a lack of something. Imagination?)
