Wicked al try putting a boss boss 502 in the uxv I don't think there is a need to build that motor either.

Hmmmmmmmm.....I'm a Hemi guy, Hellcat has a nice ring to it. Might have to relocate the seat. Speaking of mods, I discovered the Fiat 500 is about the same wheelbase as a UXV 700, that would make a fun body change.

Laidback, looked up the Boss Hoss, agreed, wouldn't have to modify that motor at all, might need a slightly larger fuel tank though.
Paul, The tires are on MSA M-21 Lok wheels. These are 14x7 with a zero offset.

Because there is no offset, it will make the vehicle a few inches wider as the stock wheels have a positive offset. Because I also did the wider tires in the back, I stretched the bed another 6 inches wider to accommodate the tires so they would tuck into the fenders on full compression.

I'm sure other manufactures have tables like this too,
http://cocomponents.com/dealer/wheel-specs/
you can see which wheel has the right offset. I haven't measured the stock wheels so don't know what they are. Bolt pattern is 4 on 110.

So I had to check out the boss hoss 502. Interesting build. I was surprised when I watched the video when it raced the ninja zx12. Ninja wasted it, I thought with that motor it could keep up.

The boss boss weighs a lot I think it's a little over 1,600 pounds.

I doubt weight is the problem on that. lol. That's a lot of motor for that, he prolly can't hold it wide open. I just wanted to see it beat the ninja.
